Our goal is to raise $200,000 each year to support Valle Verde’s students and teachers.
Purpose
The purpose of the Viking Fund is to support items not covered by MDUSD, including our grade-level Instructional Aides, Reading Intervention Specialist, Garden Science educator, software subscriptions, technology devices like Chromebooks and iPads, supplies for teachers, playground equipment, etc.
Donations to the Viking Fund are an important part of PTA’s annual budget. We rely on our larger fundraising events and Community Partner sponsorships to raise the remaining funds needed. Every dollar donated to the Viking Fund goes toward PTA activities and initiatives.
A 501(c)(3) Organization
Valle Verde PTA is exempt from taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your gifts to the Viking Fund are 100% tax-deductible. (EIN: 68-0259821)
