Art education is an essential part of our students’ development that fosters creativity, confidence, problem solving, and self expression.
At Valle Verde, we’re proud to offer an engaging Art Program that gives students hands-on experiences in a wide variety of materials and techniques. But we can’t do it without help from our wonderful community!
We’re looking for parents and caregivers who are willing to support the art program in any of the following ways:
Volunteer in the Classroom
Help bring art to life by assisting during art classes throughout the school year. No art experience is necessary, just a willingness to lend a hand and encourage creativity!
Support Art Events
Each year we host exciting community events like the Art Walk and the Art Show. Volunteers help us set up displays, hang student artwork, and make these events memorable for our young artists and their families.
Take-Home Help
Prefer to support from home? We often need help with tasks like mounting students’ artwork on paper backing or prepping materials for upcoming projects. These small tasks make a big difference and can be done on your own schedule.
Purchase Supplies
We keep an updated Amazon Wishlist of art materials and classroom needs. Every item donated helps stretch our budget and ensures students have quality materials to work with.
Donate to the Viking Fund
Contributions to the Viking Fund go toward purchasing supplies, supporting events, and expanding our art program’s reach. Every dollar makes an impact!
